How We Find Providers
AbleCub aggregates provider information from multiple authoritative sources:

- Sanity CMS: Provider-submitted and verified information through our content management system
- Public Websites: Provider websites and social media profiles for additional details
- School District Records: Public school district special education program information
- Parent Reports: Community-submitted information (clearly labeled as such)
How We Classify Providers
Providers are categorized based on their stated services, programs, and capabilities:
Classification Categories:
- 🔹 Inclusive Daycare: General childcare programs that state they serve children with special needs
- 🔹 Therapeutic Preschool: Programs with integrated therapy services (speech, OT, ABA)
- 🔹 Developmental Preschool: Programs specifically designed for developmental delays
- 🔹 Therapy Center: Clinics providing therapy services (may or may not offer full-day care)
- 🔹 Early Intervention: Programs for children under age 3 with developmental concerns
What "Verified" Means
We use specific verification labels to help families understand the source and reliability of information:
Verification Labels:
- ✅ Provider-Confirmed: Information directly confirmed by the daycare provider
- 📋 Publicly Stated: Information from the provider's official website or materials
- 🏛️ State Licensing Record: Information from official government licensing databases
- 👨👩👧👦 Parent-Reported: Information submitted by families (may not be verified)
- ❓ Not Yet Verified: Information we haven't been able to confirm independently
How Often We Check Information
Information freshness is critical for childcare decisions. We regularly update our database:
- State Licensing Data: Checked monthly against official state databases
- Provider Websites: Scanned quarterly for major changes
- Sanity CMS: Updated when providers submit corrections
- User Reports: Reviewed within 7 business days of submission
- Comprehensive Audit: Full database verification twice annually
Each provider page displays a "Last Updated" date so families can assess information currency.
How Our Matching System Works
Our chat assistant helps families find providers based on specific needs:
Matching Factors:

- Tuition costs or fee structures (unless publicly stated)
- Staff qualifications or training completion
- Compliance with licensing regulations (check state databases directly)
- Safety incident history or disciplinary actions
- Curriculum quality or educational outcomes

- Specify the incorrect information and provide correct details
- Include supporting documentation when available (website links, licensing records, etc.)
- We review submissions within 7 business days and update verified corrections
